Cayambe Climbing Tour

CAYAMBE



Cayambe volcano is located to 65 kilometers to the northeast of Quito is the third highest mountain through the Cayambe passes the equatorial line and has several summits, with the Maxima located in the center of the mountain.

Itinerary
Day 1 We will leave along the Panamericana Norte, going through the valley of Guayllabamba until we get to the city of Cayambe, we'll continue climbing to the Hacienda Piemonte until we reach the control entrance to the reserve and through a third road we'll go to the rest area Berge-Oleas-Ruales if it is in good conditions at 4700 meters where we'll spend the night.
Day 2 Approximately at 1:00 am we will go to the rocky edge until we get to the beautiful glacier that, dodging many cracks we'll get to the top in 6-7 hours, we'll descend to the rest area and from here our transportation will take us back to Quito.

Chimborazo Climbing Tour

CHIMBORAZO


It is located at 28 km to the northwest of Riobamba, is the highest mountain of Ecuador with 6310 meters, it raises in the San Andres valley and it establishes the most important elevation.

Itinerary

Day 1 We will leave from Quito ( Ambato or Riobamba ) in the morning along the Panamericana Sur in the direction to Guaranda, later we will get to our deviate to the rest area Edward Whimper at 5,000 meters where we will rest and spend the night.
Day 2 After a quick breakfast, we will leave the rest area at 12:00 hours, we'll move on to the glacier of Thielmann and we'll continue to the top of the mountain after 8 hours of climbing; this is the highest mountain in Ecuador. The descent will take us approximately 4 hours to the rest area, where we will rest and return to Quito.

Cotopaxi Climbing Tour

COTOPAXI VOLCANO


Cotopaxi is considered the highest active volcano of the world ( 5897 meters ). It is located to 60 km to the south of Quito, because of its location and almost perfect geometry of its forms is the most ascended of the Andes.

Itinerary

Day 1 We will leave in the morning along the Panamericana Sur, we'll enter to the National Park Cotopaxi, where we will, later we'll go to the rest area, José Rivas, after a little rest we'll continue to the glacier with our guide to practice, we'll return to rest area, rest, and dinner.
Day 2 At midnight, we'll prepare with all our equipment to ascend at 1:00 am. We'll ascend by the sandy ground until we get to the glacier, here we'll put on crampons and we'll continue to the top of the mountain in approximately 6 or 7 hours. Then we'll descend to the rest area in a lapse of 3-4 hours where, after a little rest we'll return to Quito.

Carihuairazo Climbing Tour

It is located in the occidental mountain range at 22 km to the southwest of Ambato near to the Chimborazo frames the green and beautiful valley of Abraspungo.

Itinerary

Day 1 We will start our expedition in the morning (8:00 am) along the Panamericana Sur going through the cities of Latacunga and Ambato where we will take the road that will take us to Guaranda until we get to the KM 32 of the same place where we will enter to the Reserve of the fauna production Chimborazo. Later after approximately one hour and a half we will leave our vehicle to begin our hiking. After four hours of hiking we will get to our place of camp.
Day 2 We will start our climb to the top of the mountain at 4:00 am to get after approximately 4 hours to the top of the mountain. The descend will take us about 2 hours to the camp and 2 more hours to get to our vehicle for return to Quito. We will arrive to Quito in the early evening.
