The area of the Ilinizas, located between the provinces of Pichincha and Cotopaxi , formed by the channels of the Toachi, San Pedro and Pilatón. The reserve, of 149,900 hectares, is resembled a sponge, because their two elevations form a geologic barrier that condenses the humidity of the coast.

Antisana, Ecuador Climbing Tour

 

ANTISANA VOLCANO

At 5,758 meters is located the Ecological Reserve Antisana is in the province of the Napo at 45 km from Quito , active volcano considered the fourth highest mountain in Ecuador and it has 4 summits perfectly individualized.

ITINERARY

DAY 1  Leaving Quito to the Valley of the Chillos we'll pass through Pintag and through a private property ranch, we'll follow a road that is difficult to travel by until we get to an area called "Los Crespos" where we will set up our first camp at an altitude of approximately 4,300 meters.

Very early around 00:00 hours, we will leave our camp and start our travel toward the top of the mountain, the same that will take us approximately 8 or 9 hours. Then we'll descend to our camp and later to our vehicle. Return to Quito.

South Ilizina Climbing Tour

ILINIZA NORTH AND SOUTH

 The top of the South Iliniza is one of the most     picturesque and beautiful of many that surrounds by its colossal part the city of Quito . This mountain is located in the occidental mountain chain of the Andes, parallel to the Cotopaxi volcano.

ITINERARY

 DAY 1 We will leave Quito in the morning, after going through Machachi and Chaupi, here we will continue along a road to the "Ciudad Encantada" (The Enchanted City) named THE VIRGIN, later we'll go to the rest area Nuevos Horizontes, here we will rest and spend the night.
DAY 2 We will leave the rest area at 4:00 hours after passing the sandy ground we will begin our climb on the ice on a ramp that has a 60 degree incline, later we will continue advancing through similar inclines until we reach the top of the mountain. The sight from the top of the mountain is magnificent and the climb exciting. The descend will be by ropes. In the early afternoon we will reach the rest area, later after a rest we will walk to our transportation and return to Quito.

ITINERARY

DAY 1 We’ll leave Quito early in the morning and go along the Panamericana Sur until we get to the community of Chaupi, arriving at the place known as The Virgin which is located at the base of Iliniza. We’ll start our hiking of 3-4 hours to the rest area and 2-3 more hours to the top. The descent to our vehicle will take about 3 hours and we’ll return to Quito the same day.

ITINERARY

 

DAY 1 In this day we'll leave at 08:30 am from the hotel along the Panamericana Sur, going through the town of Machachi , we'll enter to the community of Chaupi; from here we'll continue to a sector called the Virgin where our transportation will leave us at 3,200 meters . We'll continue our trip, hiking to the rest area in a lapse of 3-4 hours, in the afternoon we'll rest, if we still have time we'll make a recognizing of the road for the next day. We'll have dinner and lodging in the rest area.

DAY 2 Early in the morning we'll start our ascension to the top of the North Iliniza in approximately 3-4 hours, from here we'll have an excellent view of many mountains and volcanoes around us, the descend will be through the sandy ground until we get to our transportation and return to Quito.

Guagua Pinchincha Trek

Located to only 11 km ( 7 miles ) of the Ecuadorian capital the city of Quito Pichincha, it is the volcano closest to the city and the one that the easiest access to its top as to its crater has as much, conforms next to the Enchanted Father and to the Rucu Pichincha the bulk of the Pichincha.          VOLCAN RUCU PICHINCHA

ITINERARY

DAY 1 To one hour by the south of Quito we will take the route that leads to the Sanctuary of Cinto until arriving to Lloa small town that turns aside the ascent until the rest area of the Civil defense of the Guagua Pichincha where our transport will leave us. We will do trekking of approximately of three hours until the summit from we will be able here to around observe the crater of this one active volcano and mountains around it.
