Itinerary

We’ll leave Quito early in the morning; we’ll take the way to Cumbaya, going to the route that goes to Baeza, until we get to a place called high barren plain of the Virgin, where we’ll begin our walk of approximately 2 hours, getting to the lagoon, where we’ll start to fish; we’ll cross by rivulets that supply the lagoon. In the afternoon we’ll return to the vehicle to go back to Quito.

We’ll leave Quito early in the morning; we’ll go through the Panamericana Norte, until we get to Otavalo and then we’ll take the road in the direction to the Mojanda’s knot. We’ll get with the vehicle to the border of the lagoon and we’ll continue our activity of fishing in the afternoon.

Early in the morning at 6:00 am, we’ll go by the road that takes us to Cumbaya, Baeza, reaching to a place named Tambo, where we’ll go horseback riding to cross the high barren plain until we get to the base of the Antisana for 2 hours and half, reaching the lagoon, where we’ll begin to fish river up and continue fishing until 14:00 hours, to return to our vehicle. We’ll arrive to Quito at 19:00 hours.
